Creativity comes in many forms and everyone has creative potential. It does not matter what the medium or the outlet is, it is the process and the results that are important.
It is often thought that people are either creative or not, the arguments being some of us are right brained, some left. But I argue that everyone can be creative in their own way. I myself am a qualified accountant and an artist. There is no ‘one or the other’ in my mind and I encourage everyone to find something that they find to be a creative pursuit.
Creativity is something that requires to be practiced and exercised often - the more you do, the more you will get from it and you will develop your own method of doing so.
Introversion and Creativity:
Introverts often possess unique qualities (e.g., deep thinking, observation, and focus) that can enhance creativity.
I personally prefer the quiet, the stillness and the peace that allows my overthinking brain time to relax. I can become hyper focused which has it’s benefits but also drawbacks as I can become somewhat factory like, producing and producing to the point of exhaustion. I have learned over time to attempt to attain a balance of sorts.
Things to do: Purchase a fresh new journal that you will enjoy writing in using a pen you love.
